Itinerary:
The tour departing from the Stazio of San Tomà allows us to explore the jewels of this area, beginning along the Rio di San Polo, with the numerous Palazzi and noble families’ homes constructed in diverse architectural styles which varied over the centuries as Venice’s influence reached ever further around the globe over the seas. Along the quiet inner canals, we are rocked gently, and are struck by the magic views and perspectives which only a gondola can provide from the water. Returning along the Grand Canal we see Ca’ Pesaro, which now holds the Museums of Modern Art and of Oriental Art, and pass romantically under the Rialto bridge to return once again to San Tomà.
